• A new bulk download version of the site is available. This edition contains the two suttas from the Samyutta Nikaya that were released two weeks ago, plus the usual complement of minor corrections.

• Malunkyaputta Sutta (SN 35.95) — To Malunkyaputta {S iv 72; CDB ii 1175} [Thanissaro Bhikkhu, trans.]. An aging Ven. Malunkyaputta receives from the Buddha a short teaching regarding dispassion towards the senses („In reference to the seen, there will be only the seen…“), and soon thereafter becomes an arahant.
• Pamadaviharin Sutta (SN 35.97) — Dwelling in Heedlessness {S iv 79; CDB ii 1179} [Thanissaro Bhikkhu, trans.]. What is the difference between living with and without heedfulness (appamada)?

(2005.01.29) New bulk download is available (v. 05.0129.20)

• A new bulk download version of the site is available. This edition contains only minor changes from the previous one (05.0108.18), with little added content. (I plan to release a couple more suttas in the next day or two, so you may prefer to wait until the next revision of the bulk download.)

(2005.01.26) Changes underway at ATI

• Access to Insight's home page has a new look. I hope you like it. Other minor cosmetic changes to the website will be coming in the weeks ahead. The purpose of these changes is to unify the appearance of the website's many pages and to make it easier for those of you who wish to reprint or redistribute them elsewhere to reformat them to suit your own stylistic preferences.

There are bound to be some glitches during this transition &mdash; especially some inconsistencies of font style and other cosmetics. For these I ask for your patience. If you discover any other problems, of course, please let me know . </ul>

(2005.01.08) „Other Theravada Sources“ page has been revamped

• I've reorganized the Other Theravada Sources page and expanded it to include websites that offer Tipitaka translations in languages other than English and audio recordings and streams.
